Forgot Password

Welcome to SOCKETWorx. The login form takes the email address your SOCKETWorx administrator created for you and the password they sent in your Welcome Email. If your account already has two-factor authentication enabled you’ll be asked for a six-digit code from your authenticator app after the password step.

Form Fields

Email The email address tied to your account. Your administrator chose this when they created your user; if you’re unsure which address was used, check the inbox where you received the Welcome Email.
Password The system-generated password from your Welcome Email if you’re logging in for the first time, otherwise whatever you set it to last. Once logged in, change it under Profile dropdown → User Settings & Profile → Change Password.
reCAPTCHA A "I’m not a robot" check, only shown if your site has reCAPTCHA enabled in Setup. Complete the challenge before the Log In button becomes active. If reCAPTCHA isn’t configured on your site, the widget is hidden entirely.
Log In button Submits the form. The button shows a spinner while authentication is in flight; it stays disabled until any required reCAPTCHA is satisfied.

Common Tasks

I forgot my password Click the Forgot Password link below the password field. Enter the email you log in with; SOCKETWorx will email you a password-reset link. The link is single-use and time-limited.
I don’t have an account yet Use the Request Access button. Fill in your name, company, and the email you want to log in with. A SOCKETWorx administrator reviews requests and you’ll get a Welcome Email once your account is created.
I got the Welcome Email but my password doesn’t work Copy-paste the password directly from the email (no leading/trailing spaces). If it still fails, use Forgot Password to reset it to one you choose yourself.
My account got locked out SOCKETWorx locks accounts after too many failed password attempts in a row. Wait the lockout duration (usually a few minutes) and try again, or have an administrator unlock your account from the Users admin page.
It’s asking for a 2FA code Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.) and type the six-digit code shown for SOCKETWorx. Codes refresh every 30 seconds — type the current one before it expires.
I lost my 2FA device Contact your SOCKETWorx administrator. They can disable two-factor on your account so you can log in and re-enroll a new device.
